MY LEGACY

The Critchfield Family

I was diagnosed with leukemia when I was 19 years old. I underwent a bone marrow transplant in Sept. 1994. My sister Rikki donated her marrow~we were a perfect match! I am a cancer survivor and have been cancer free for 15 years! I am so thankful for the second chance I was given. I married my sweetheart in March 2001 and we have two beautiful daughters, Shondrel and Sydney. I could not ask for anything more. I am grateful for my life!

Christmas 2009

Scott and Lindsey

Scott and I have been married for 9 years on March 4. We were sealed in the Provo Temple on March 12, 2004. He is a complex man with a huge heart. He works so hard for his family. I love him dearly! Happy Anniversary!

SYD AND SHON

These are two happy girls. I love 'em!!!

Sydney

Sydney Layton Critchfield was born Aug. 09, 2007. She is Shonnie's biological sister. We adopted sweet Syd and was able to bring her home the day after she was born. That was almost three years ago! WOW! These are some pictures of little Silly (as her sister would say) the day after she was born. After two failed IVF tries, tons of money, and feeling as if we were never going to have kids in this life, I was so filled with thankfulness and joy to learn we were bringing two girls home! What a BLESSING!!! We are so grateful to the girls birth mother for this gift.

Shondrel

Shondrel is 5 years old now and is a joy to our family. She is the best big sister.
My husband and I adopted sweet Shonnie when she was just 2 1/2. These are pictures of her when she was 2 1/2 and right after we signed the paperwork and brought her home. She was the cutest little tike. Full of vinegar! lol She has come full circle and is doing super! We love her so much and am so thankful to have her in our family!!!
